MakrX Gateway Payments Terms & Conditions

Razorpay manages billing for MakrX Gateway memberships, pro tooling credits, and partner perks. These are the terms that apply.

How Razorpay processes your MakrX orders

MakrX partners with Razorpay Software Private Limited as our payment gateway to securely collect payments for subscriptions, event tickets, and makerspace bookings. When you continue to pay, you authorise Razorpay to process the transaction on our behalf, which may include storing card details as permitted by RBI tokenisation regulations.

All payment pages are protected with TLS 1.2 or higher and conform to PCI DSS requirements. Sensitive card information never touches MakrX infrastructure and is captured directly on Razorpay-hosted fields.

  • Supported instruments include UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, BNPL, and wallet partners approved by Razorpay.
  • Orders are confirmed only after Razorpay marks the payment as captured. Pending or failed payments are automatically cancelled within 24 hours.
  • Invoices and GST-compliant receipts are generated once we receive Razorpay webhooks confirming settlement.

Authorisations, settlements, and platform fees

Certain orders may trigger a pre-authorisation on your card or UPI mandate. The exact amount will be displayed before you approve the payment and will not exceed the total shown on the checkout screen.

MakrX service fees and any applicable taxes are calculated by us, while Razorpay may levy gateway charges to Botness Technologies Private Limited as the merchant of record. You will never be charged hidden fees by Razorpay directly.

  • For subscriptions, recurring payment mandates are created through Razorpay and can be revoked via your Razorpay dashboard or by contacting MakrX support.
  • Settlement timelines follow Razorpay SLAs—usually T+1 for domestic cards and T+2 for UPI/net-banking unless flagged for KYC review.
  • Any chargebacks raised with your issuing bank are routed through Razorpay’s dispute desk. We will cooperate fully to provide supporting documentation.

Compliance, fraud monitoring, and audit trail

MakrX and Razorpay maintain shared fraud monitoring controls. Transactions may be temporarily held if Razorpay’s risk team requests additional verification. You may receive an SMS or email from Razorpay to confirm high-value payments.

We retain Razorpay transaction references, webhook payloads, and invoice PDFs for a minimum of seven (7) years to meet Indian accounting, GST, and RBI compliance requirements.

  • Suspicious payments can be reported to payments@makrx.org. We will escalate cases to Razorpay within 24 business hours.
  • If Razorpay suspends our merchant account for compliance reasons, MakrX will pause new collections until the issue is resolved and notify all impacted customers.
  • Audit logs are accessible to regulatory authorities upon request and subject to NDAs where applicable.

Need help with a Razorpay payment?

If you encounter charges you do not recognise, double debits, or payment timeouts, reach out to us with the Razorpay payment ID (format: pay_XXXX) or order ID (format: order_XXXX). This helps us coordinate quickly with the Razorpay support team.

For disputes older than 60 days, Razorpay may require additional identification from the customer. MakrX support will guide you through the process and keep you informed of the resolution timeline.
